The new photopolymer will be an addition to the Stampin’ Up! stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. The top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of the firm-foam pads, let’s just say they’re meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in the traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

  • Available on all order types beginning March 1, 2013.
  • Not available in wood-mount or clear-mount.
  • All photopolymer will be packaged in cello bag w/insert, but don’t forget you can store them in our clear cases.

“Best of Love” Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to the "Best of Stampin' Up!" stamp set for February… The "Best of Love!"

Each month I'll post information here on my website about the NEW "Best Of" set for that month:

The Details:

  • All "Best Of" stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.

Embossing with the New Borders Scoring Plate

Wow! I've just received my Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate and it's SO much fun to use. With almost 20 border and edge designs to play
with, the possibilities are endless. Many of the designs coordinate with
Stampin’ Up! dies as well!

The Borders Scoring
Plate comes in two pieces – the plate and the clear overlay. The plate goes
on top of the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, making sure the arrow on the backside points
to the top.  The overlay goes over
whatever you are embossing (designer series paper, card stock) so that you know
where the underlying design is located.  Photo 1 shows the card stock on the board
with the overlay on top. Photo 2 shows the design I used (scallops with dots-so
cute!), which I sponged over so you could see it better on camera.

Tips to remember:

  • Take your time! You will get the
    "feel" of the board by using it, but until then make sure you slow
    down to get the best impression possible.
  • Depending on the material you are using and
    which border design, you can determine which end of your stylus to use.
  • Place your card stock onto the board upside-down
    for embossing and right-side-up for debossing.

Soft Suede Always Artichoke scored Thinking of You cards

Next week I will be posting about the new Borders Scoring Plate for the Simply Scored Tool.  Today I'm posting a project I made using the zig-zag pattern on the plate.  I've CASEd (copy & steal) this card from a recent sample in the Stampin' Success magazine (a demonstrator-only resource – LOVE IT!)

Because it can sometimes be a challenge to make "masculine" cards for the men in our lives, I decided to use colors and patterns to fit the bill.  Soft Suede and Always Artichoke card stock, together with their coordinating ink colors made this project super-simple but still with quite an impact.

I also used the NEW Ovals Collection Framelits featured in the current Spring Mini Catalog.
