Vellum Flower Fancy Card

Vellum flower fancy
This summer I created this lovely card using the stamp set called Flower Fancy on vellum cardstock. To stamp on vellum, use StazOn ink. Once the ink is dry you color your flower image on the back side of the vellum for a more muted color, or on the front for a vibrant color.  I colored my image using the Stampin' Write markers listed below. This card also features sponging ink onto card stock – one of my favorite things! I even sponged my Vanilla Satin ribbon to make it coordinate with the So Saffron.

Stamp Set: Flower Fancy (111578)

Card Stock/Paper: Vellum Card Stock (101856), So Saffron (105118), Basic Black (121045), First Edition Specialty DSP (121878)

Coloring Tools: Jet Black StazOn (101406), More Mustard Classic (103162), More Mustard Stampin' Write Marker (100076), So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker (105114), Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Marker (120975)

Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips (103579), Scallop Trim Border Punch (108402), Mini Glue Dots (103683), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stamping Sponges (101610), Vanilla Satin Ribbon (117291)

Use Your Ribbon Scraps – Card Project

If you are like me, you have plenty of little scraps of ribbon from previous crafting projects. Too small to use as you typically would and too big to just throw away.  Here is a cute way to use your ribbon scraps – no matter the sizes or colors!  Just adapt the project to what you have in your stash.

Ribbon Scraps Card
Stamp Sets: All Holidays (retired) – I recommend substituting Full of Life (111500) or Word Play (120308-W, 120651-C); Day of Gratitude (120835-W, 121148-C)
Card Stock: Basic Black (121045), Old Olive (100702)
Coloring: VersaMark Pad (102283), Clear Embossing Powder (109130)
Tools & Accessories: Ribbon Scraps (various), 1-1/2" Circle Punch (120906), Corner Rounder PUnch (119871), Heat Tool (100005), Embossing Buddy (103083), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

I hope you enjoy this project.  Contact me if you have any questions about it, or any other project or technique.  If you are interested in learning how to do heat embossing then let's schedule a Private Stamping Class for you and your friends. You might even earn some free stamps in the process!
